Today was one of those days that makes our job enormously rewarding. We received a call from a father of two who had taken out over $100,000 in student loans for his children. As one of our Senior Case Manager's was discussing our client's options, he learned that he was talking to a Vietnam veteran who also happened to be on full disability.
Under the Obama Forgiveness Program, any borrower who has federal loans and is on full disability receives a complete forgiveness of their loan.
